Geschiedenis
Kapel, Centrum voor Jeugdhulp, Valkenheide (hoofdgebouw).
Interessante moderne kapel met losstaande klokkenstoel.
De grote zaal van de Valkenburcht werd naast de kerkelijke functie gebruikt als theater/ recreatieruimte en filmzaal. Er was een goed geoutilleerd podium met theaterverlichting, gordijnen en katrollen voor rekwisieten.
De Valkenburcht werd na 1974 jaren als opslagplaats gebruikt, alleen het bovenzaaltje had nog een kerkelijke functie en werd gebruikt door een extern kerkgenoodschap.
Bericht uit 2017
Het gebouw zal in 2018 geschikt gemaakt worden als dagactiviteitencentrum voor jongeren van 8 tot 22 jaar met een complexe zorgvraag. Het is de bedoeling dat de verbouwing op 1 oktober 2018 klaar is.
